It was kind of a natural fit, photography, and me. Since I was a child, I have owned a camera and shot thousands of photographs over the years. I grew up loving and respecting the great photographer Ansel Adams. I started taking photography classes in grade school where I made my first pin hole camera and continued developing my style and skills through my collage years. I went from having a dark room in my parent’s bathroom to learning the digital medium.
Prior to our move to Prescott in 2012, I displayed my photography at art shows throughout the Bay Area and Northern California. After retirement, my wife, Nicole, and I moved to Prescott where I continued my love of photography. My deep affection of the southwest has given me a greater appreciation of the natural beauty our state has to offer. And I hope it shows in my photographs. For many years I continued to display my photographs at art shows from Flagstaff to Tubac and many places in between. Now, I only show my photographs at the Art Mart at the Gateway Mall in Prescott as well as select events in the Prescott Area.
I would like to thank Rick and Maricor for allowing me to display my art in their wonderful tasting room. I hope you enjoy my photographs while you sip some of the best wine Arizona has to offer.
